Dr Juliette Brouard

Juliette, as her surname suggests, is from Guernsey and has always been proud to call Guernsey her home. She has jumped at the chance to work with us at Little Grove Dental to provide affordable dental treatment within the island.

Juliette graduated from the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry in 2015 and is a member of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Since graduation she has spent time working in dental practices in both London and Guernsey, as well Cardiff Dental Hospital where she gained experience in oral surgery, sedation, paediatric and emergency dentistry.

Juliette is also a qualified Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist; graduating from Cardiff University in 2008. During this time she worked in Cardiff, the City of London and Guernsey in practice and at the Guernsey Children’s Dental Service. This period saw Juliette working with anxious patients, children and under the guidance of a highly regarded specialist periodontist.

Juliette is passionate about Dentistry and the career pathways within the profession. She started her dental career locally working as a Dental Nurse on Saturdays and during her school holidays, having always had the ambition to be a Dentist. She was fortunate enough to be involved in the ‘skills mix research in Dentistry’ being carried out by Cardiff University. Juliette is now using her skills and knowledge acquired through her dental career to help train Dental Nurses on island. She is looking forward to working with our team of Dental Nurses at Little Grove Dental.

Whilst Juliette enjoys studying and teaching, her greatest enjoyment comes from treating patients. She enjoys getting to know patients and making them feel relaxed and comfortable, aiming to reduce the concerns of attending the dentist.

Juliette’s breadth of experience means she is able to carry out all treatments, she looks forward to meeting and treating you all at Little Grove Dental.

Outside of dentistry, Juliette is an active committee member of a local charity. She also enjoys playing Padel Tennis with friends, walking the cliffs of Guernsey and spending time with her family.

Dr Donal Lyons

Donal graduated with honours from the prestigious Trinity College Dublin in 2000.

Highly experienced in general dentistry, he is particularly interested in modern tooth coloured restorations (fillings, onlays, veneers and crowns), smile design and quality denture work. So much so, that in 2014 he achieved a Masters in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics with Distinction from Kings College London. He is also experienced in performing root canal treatments.

Donal prides himself on the quality of his work, being gentle, friendly and approachable, and thoroughly satisfying his patients’ needs.

New to the island, he is looking forward to exploring it with his wife and two young boys!

Dr Kate Jones

Kate qualified as a dentist from Cardiff University Dental School in 2011, with a first-class honours degree (Bachelor of Dental Surgery).
Kate excelled academically during her time at dental school. She was awarded the 2008 ‘Trevor Tranter Prize in Dental Materials’ and was one of only a handful of graduates to gain a first-class degree.

Since completing her foundation training in North Wales, Kate has gained vast experience working for over eight years as an associate dentist in Cheshire.

During this time, she also undertook additional training in short-term orthodontics and facial aesthetics (anti-wrinkle treatments). In the spring of 2021, Kate re-located to Guernsey and began work as a private dentist at Little Grove Dental & Implant Centre.

Kate is devoted to providing quality dentistry in a friendly, comfortable and caring environment. Her calm and patient nature makes her particularly good at treating children and the most anxious of patients. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but in particular, family dentistry.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with her family/fr​iends and walking her two dogs. She is also a keen tennis player and skier. She is very much looking forward to exploring the beautiful island of Guernsey.

Dr Lee Abrahams

Lee graduated from Newcastle Dental School in 2015, having previously completed a BSc at King’s College London. He completed foundation training in Newquay, Cornwall.

Lee subsequently underwent further training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro at SHO and middle grade level and completed MFDS with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He was elected as a full member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons 2021. Lee enjoys treating patients under local anaesthetic on dedicated minor oral surgery lists as well as under sedation and general anaesthetic in a day case theatre setting.

Lee’s partner, Naomi, was born and raised in Guernsey, and decided to move back this Summer with their one year old son, Oscar to be closer to family and enjoy everything the island has to offer!

Lee is looking forward to meeting all my new patients and providing comprehensive, individual focused care in a friendly, relaxed environment. He is particularly interested in ensuring anxious patients feel comfortable, especially under local anaesthetic.

He will be accepting referrals for straightforward surgical lower wisdom teeth and more complex surgical extractions as required.
Patients are also welcome to attend for wisdom tooth consultations.

Dr Leah Briscoe

Leah is an American-Irish dentist new to Guernsey. After graduating from Trinity College Dublin in 2021 with a degree in Dental Science and previously graduating from University of Vermont with a Bachelor of science degree.

As a newly qualified dentist she is very excited and enthusiastic about starting this life long dream of hers in the dental field. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry with special interests in root canal treatments and esthetic work involving composite and orthodontics. Leah began her journey at little grove in October of 2021 and could not be more delighted.

Leah is passionate about providing high quality dentistry while making patients feel comfortable and relaxed. It is of utmost importance that Leah’s patient leave feeling satisfied with their treatments.

Leah is particularly accommodating for anxious patients or those who have not been to the dentist in a number of years. Additionally, Leah enjoys working with entire families and long-term patients, seeing them grow and progress each year.

Outside of work Leah enjoys playing hockey and socializing with the new friends she is meeting on the island. She is very keen to explore the island - both land and sea, traveling off the island for weekends away, as well as the needed restful weekends during the cold and rainy days. She very much looks forward to meeting and getting to know both you and your smile

Many of you will know Linda who worked as head of the school dental service in Guernsey for many years!

Linda has now retired from clinical work and we are delighted to have her as our practice manager.

Her experience is simply invaluable and her caring, gentle and friendly personality greatly enhances the patient experience at little grove dental!

Do you offer a payment plans?

Any treatment costing over £500 can be spread over 12 months with our partners, Cherry Godfrey (subject to terms and conditions).

How long does it take to qualify as a dentist?

Qualification takes 5 years at university and then usually a further foundation year in practice.

Do you offer white fillings?

Yes, our dentists use white composite material and all of our fillings are £92.

Do you offer teeth whitening?

Yes, a home whitening kit costs £205. This includes upper and lower whitening trays as well as 2 weeks' worth of 6% hydrogen peroxide gel syringes (the active bleach ingredient). We also offer home Enlighten whitening kit which includes one session in the surgery for £450.

How much are white crowns?

Crowns are metal free and cost £545. The material is ceramic or reinforced composite.
